From Prosecco DOC Rosé to Bardolino Chiaretto, to Tre Venezie Rosé, and finally to the latest She’s Always Rosé, Enoitalia is ready to meet the demand of a category that shows no signs of slowing down
From a niche market and typically summer wine, rosé wines have become one of the most interesting phenomena of recent years (alongside that of sparkling wines). Until 2014 France was the absolute leader of rosé wine with its Rosé Côtes de Provence.
Sales went from 3.8% in 2019 to 4.2% in 2020, up to 4.4% in 2021 (source Wine Opinions), with Italy representing the fifth market in the world for rosé wines (13 % of the total, Euromonitor International data), accounting for about 7% of world production.
Rosé drinkers are mostly women, with a frequency of 2-5 times a week, and Millennials (those born between 1981 and 1996) which leads to an increase in sales, on the wave of a trend that is stronger and stronger, from the US to the UK.
Enoitalia is ready to satisfy this growing market with its prestigious selection of rosé wines including: Prosecco DOC Rosé Extra Dry, Bardolino DOC Chiaretto, Rosato Tre Venezie IGT and the latest addition to its rosé portfolio, She’s Always Rosé Pinot Noir Rosé and She’s Always Rosé Sparkling Pinot Noir.
